About
Karate Fokus was created in April 2023, but our connection to karate photography began in 2017, through following our children in this passionate sport. What started as a hobby, photographing training sessions, teams and some competitions, became a project dedicated exclusively to karate photography.
In 2023, we realised there was an opportunity for a professional service specialised in this area, and Karate Fokus was born with the mission of creating images that capture the intensity, emotion and dedication that every athlete brings to the tatami.
The response from the karate community was incredible from the very beginning. In just 3 years, Karate Fokus has built a community of around 26,000 followers worldwide, especially in Europe, becoming an increasingly recognised presence at national and international competitions.
Today, we follow athletes from their first competitions to the highest levels of performance, creating a connection that goes far beyond a simple photoshoot. We aim to capture unique moments: the focus before a match, the emotion of victory, the strength after defeat, and all the details that are part of an athlete’s journey.
We are present at competitions organised by FNK-P and WKF, including K1 Youth League, K1 Series A, K1 Premier League, EKF European Championships and WKF World Championships.
Karate Fokus continues to evolve, with the ambition of becoming an international reference in karate photography, while always keeping the same passion that started this project: valuing and giving visibility to athletes through photography.
